Playing hide and seek with a 3 year old is peak parenting
He hides behind the couch with his eyes closed. I pretend I can't find him for like 10 minutes while he's giggling like crazy. He thinks he's a genius. I get a break. Everybody wins. This is what they don't tell you about parenting that's actually amazing.
The patience you're showing him right now is building memories he'll remember forever. Those 10 minutes of pretending matter more than you know.
