Pun war with my 8 year old has spiraled out of control

Started innocently enough with some basic knock knock jokes but now we're deep into full pun battles at the dinner table. My wife is suffering but my son is actually thinking through wordplay and I'm so proud. Last night he got me with "I'm reading a book about anti-gravity, it's impossible to put down." That's my boy right there.
