You ever catch yourself about to tell a joke and realize halfway through it's completely inappropriate for your audience and you just have to commit and hope it lands? Yeah I did that at my son's school thing yesterday. Started telling this joke about a man and a horse walking into a bar and I was already in too deep. Landed it anyway but my wife gave me that look.

I do this constantly, especially on the weekends when I'm tired. The awkward pause while you're mid-story trying to figure out if you should keep going is peak dad life right there.
