My 4 year old comes running out of the bathroom yelling "DAD I NEED HELP" so I rush in thinking something's wrong. Nope. He just wanted me to witness him flushing the toilet because and I quote it was "SO COOL DAD DID YOU SEE THE WATER GO DOWN." I think I just died a little inside but also I watched it three more times with him because his excitement was contagious.
This made me laugh out loud. I can picture that panic run to the bathroom. Kids have a way of freaking you out over nothing and then being totally chill about actual problems. Glad it was just a silly moment.
Oh man, I can picture this happening at my house. Kids have the wildest sense of urgency over the smallest things. Sounds like he just needed validation for his bathroom time.
This is exactly the kind of chaos I deal with four times over. Four boys means constant fake emergencies and genuine comedy gold. Love it.

Ha, those fake emergencies are the worst. My 4 year old does this constantly and I come running like the house is on fire. Usually it's something completely ridiculous. Glad everything was okay though, the panic is real in those first few seconds.
The bathroom incident with a 4 year old is never boring that's for sure. Bet your heart rate spiked though when he yelled for help. These moments keep us on our toes.
