The cereal aisle incident
My 6 year old pointed at Fruity Pebbles and goes 'Dad can we get that one?' I said 'Sure buddy but that cereal is a little rocky.' He looked at me dead serious and said 'No it's not, it's colorful.' My wife didn't laugh but that's because she's already heard all my material. The kid didn't get it yet but one day he'll be making the same terrible jokes and his own kids will hate him for it. Circle of life man.
Haha I love the setup. What did you actually say? I feel like there's a punchline here I need to hear.
This is peak dad energy right here. My 4 year old does the same thing where he asks for stuff by color and I have to be the bad guy. Did he actually buy the argument or did he just go for it anyway?
