Took the kids to the grocery store and my 5 year old asked why there are so many choices of cereal. I said because life is about having options. He said that's dumb and just wants Lucky Charms like always. Valid point kid. Valid point.

Ha, that's a great answer and he totally called you out on it. My 5 year old does the same thing with cereal choices - ends up picking the one with the most sugar anyway.

Love this. Kids have a way of finding the logic hole in everything we say. At least he's thinking critically about life decisions early on.

That's hilarious and honestly pretty wise for a 5 year old. The grocery store is basically a daily negotiation with three kids for me, so I feel this in my soul.
