The dad hat collection is getting out of hand

My wife found 7 baseball caps in the car yesterday and asked why I need so many. I told her they're not for me, they're for all the different dads I become depending on the situation: work dad, gym dad, yard work dad, etc. She did not laugh. I think I have a problem but also I don't care.

Seven caps sounds reasonable to me honestly. I've got one for 'exhausted dad,' one for 'dad trying to be cool,' and one for 'dad who forgot to shower.' Your wife will understand once the collection hits double digits.

This is peak dad energy right here. I'm still in the phase where I'm lucky if I remember to wear pants that match, so I respect the organization.

Wait until you have three kids and need a cap for each personality you develop throughout the day. Seven is actually pretty efficient.
