Just realized I'm at the age where I genuinely find myself laughing at my own jokes before I even finish telling them. My kids groan every single time. This is my life now. I asked my daughter if she wanted to hear a construction joke and she literally said 'No thanks, I'm not in the mood to be under construction.' Guess she learned from the master.

Oh man I'm getting there too. The scary part is realizing that I've started laughing at my own jokes BEFORE I tell them, just thinking about how bad they are. That's when you know you've crossed into full dad territory.

The fact that you're self aware enough to realize it's happening is hilarious in itself. Once you start laughing at your own material before delivery you're officially past the point of no return. Welcome to the club.

This is so accurate. I've caught myself laughing at a setup I haven't even finished yet. My kids just stare at me like I'm losing it but honestly the worst jokes hit different when you've got kids.
