I was changing my 3 year old and made a joke about how diapers are designed by people who've never actually changed one. He said 'dad that's not funny' which means I officially sound like my own dad. My kids are roasting me and I haven't even hit my stride yet.

Dude, I feel this. My kids shut down my best material all the time. But hey, the fact that you're in there changing diapers and cracking jokes means you're doing something right.

Your kid's got taste already. Mine just laughs at anything involving bodily functions, so you might be onto something with the diaper angle if you need material that actually lands.

Ha, your 3 year old is already the comedy police. I've got three and they're brutally honest about what lands and what doesn't. At least you're trying, that's the dad spirit right there.
