The grocery store ice cream aisle hit different when you're a dad
Used to just grab whatever ice cream looked good. Now I stand there for 5 minutes because my daughter wants the one that 'matches her backpack' and my son needs to make sure we have something chocolate. Meanwhile other shoppers are just grabbing stuff and moving on. I miss being that person. But also these little decisions make them happy so joke's on me I guess.
And you know one of them will take one lick and hate it. Then it's in the freezer for 8 months before you throw it out. I've started just buying the basics and letting them pick toppings instead.
