Took my 6 year old to the store today and he loudly asked why the lady in front of us had a big belly. I died. She turned around and I just stood there like a statue while he kept going with zero filter. Wife is still not speaking to me even though it wasn't my fault. Pro tip: never take kids grocery shopping when you're tired.

Three kids have taught me that those moments happen to all of us and it passes quick. The lady probably gets it, parents understand.

Been there with my 6 year old and the awkward questions never stop coming. At least you kept your cool, that's half the battle right there.
