Took my 6 year old to the store yesterday and he points at the rotisserie chickens and goes "Dad why are those chickens just standing there doing nothing?" I told him they're on a rotation. He didn't talk to me for an hour.
That's hilarious. My boys would've kept asking why until I gave up and just bought the chicken. The sticker chart strategy is to reward them for NOT asking these questions in public.
Haha man, kids say the wildest stuff. My 7 year old asked me why the hot dogs were screaming when I opened the package last week. I feel your pain.
Haha kids have no filter. I've learned to just roll with it. The looks you get in the grocery store when your kid says something unhinged are the best part of parenting honestly.
Please tell me you didn't laugh out loud in the store. My 6 year old says stuff like that constantly and I'm trying to keep a straight face while other parents stare at me.
