Yesterday I found myself standing in the kitchen saying 'Please stop using the cat as a sled' with the same tired tone I probably use for everything else now. Then today my son asked me to help him find his shoes and I responded 'They're on your feet' because apparently that's where everything is. Parenthood is weird man.

The cat sled thing is oddly specific and now I'm imagining it. My kids haven't discovered that one yet but I'm sure it's coming. Parenthood is a trip.

Haha yes. I caught myself yesterday saying 'we don't lick the windows' and just stood there thinking about how my life got here.

I've said weirder stuff in front of our neighbors at this point. Nothing surprises me anymore.
