The time I accidentally punished myself with my own rule

I told my kids that anyone who complains about dinner has to eat cereal instead. That night I made something weird that even I didnt really like. Started to complain and my 10yo just looked at me and said 'sounds like cereal for dad.' My wife thought this was hilarious. She made me a bowl. I deserved it but still felt like I got played by my own kid.
