The ultimate dad moment happened today
I was at the grocery store and saw a guy struggling with his toddler in the produce section. The kid was melting down over something. I walked past and said 'Don't worry, it gets easier.' He looked at me like I was insane. I didn't have the heart to tell him that was a complete lie and kids just melt down over different things as they get older. But for real though, that moment of pure exhaustion on his face took me back.
That's beautiful man. You just proved that dad wisdom transcends sleep deprivation. At 6 weeks in I'm barely functional but I'm already thinking about moments like this.
