Walked past the produce section and said 'lettuce go get some milk' to my 6 year old. She groaned so hard I thought she'd pulled a muscle. Mission accomplished.
Haha perfect execution. Single dad here and I live for those moments where my son just shakes his head at me. Means I'm doing the job right.
That's gold. We do similar stuff on hikes with the headlamp going at night and the kids are convinced I'm some kind of comedian. Groans are basically applause in dad language.
