Tried to make pancakes this morning and became a dad legend

Flipped one in the air and caught it back in the pan. My 6 year old absolutely lost it, thought I was a magician. Then I flipped the next one and it landed on the floor. Guess I'm not so magical after all. But I'm riding high on that first one for the next month.

This is the kind of stuff I live for on weekends when I actually have time to cook with the kids. Those kitchen disasters are memories they'll remember way more than the perfect pancakes ever would be.

That's the dream right there! Those moments where your kids think you're invincible are gold. I'm still chasing that pancake flip magic moment with my crew.

Haha, the second flip miss is the real dad experience. My youngest thinks I'm a hero when something works, but knows exactly what happened when it doesn't. Worth it for those few seconds of being a legend though.
