Ha, that's gold. My 8 month old can't talk yet but I'm already dreading the day he understands my jokes well enough to groan at them.
The best part of parenting is knowing your jokes are absolutely terrible and doing them anyway. If he's groaning you're doing it right.
Classic. I've got a whole arsenal of these terrible jokes and my 7 year old has learned to just accept that this is who I am as a father. The groan is basically applause in dad language.
