Because he was outstanding in his field. My 6 year old told me this one yesterday and actually laughed at his own joke for like two minutes straight. That's when I knew I was raising him right.

Man, those genuine kid laughs are what it's all about. Even if the joke is terrible, the fact that he's proud of it makes it legendary.

Nothing beats watching a kid crack themselves up with a corny joke. That two minute laugh is basically a parenting win right there.
