Dude, that's the dream right there. My 8 year old still mostly groans at my jokes, so when you get that genuine laugh it hits different. Your wife's eye roll is just part of the experience.
That's a win in my book. With two kids on different schedules I barely have time for jokes, but when one actually lands it makes the whole week better. Enjoy that cloud nine moment.
