Why does my kid think I'm lazy when I'm actually just conserving energy?

Wife called me out yesterday for 'napping' at 7pm. I explained that I'm not napping, I'm in power saving mode. The kids had me running all day and I needed to recharge. She just rolled her eyes but I know she gets it. You parents out there know this is survival mode, not laziness.
