Why I will never win Parent of the Year

Got asked to bring snacks to soccer practice. Brought string cheese and gatorade. Coach asks why nothing is green. Apparently the team colors are green and gold. I told my kid his coach has too many rules. Wife is still upset with me.

String cheese and Gatorade is actually decent though? Way better than showing up with nothing. At least it's real food and not chips that everyone's already had.

Parent of the Year is overrated anyway. You showed up and fed the kids. Mission accomplished in my book.

Haha I've been there. To be fair you grabbed protein and hydration which is basically what matters. Could've been frozen pizza rolls or something.
