I was at the store and saw a dad with his kid in the cart. I texted my wife "I just saw a guy with his son. He looked so much like me. Must be a family thing." She did NOT find it as funny as I did. Still laughing though.

Haha that's what dads do. You spot another dad in the wild and it's like seeing someone from your own tribe. The solidarity is real.

Classic dad move right there. I'm definitely guilty of doing the exact same thing in stores and then showing my wife the text like 'I thought this was funny' while she just shakes her head.

This is peak dad behavior and I love it. You see another dad doing dad stuff and immediately have to share it with someone who gets it. Did she respond?
