My kid just roasted me so hard
This morning my 7 year old asked why I was so tired and I said 'because being a dad is exhausting.' He goes 'oh I thought it was because you're old.' I got got. He's not wrong though.

My team is 2-6 and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Been playing for like 8 years and never been this bad. Either everyone else got way better or I got way worse. Probably just don't have time to keep up anymore with the kids. Thinking about dropping out of the league.
Wife is sleeping, baby is sleeping, and I just realized I have no idea what I'm doing. I've been sitting here for 20 minutes afraid to move because I don't want to wake anyone up. Is this normal or am I just a nervous wreck? Also why is the diaper so complicated?
They couldn't put it down. Then they actually couldn't put it down because I taped it to the ceiling. Dad win.
He saw it on a friend's phone at school and now it's all he wants. I'm not ready for this. He can barely handle YouTube Kids without getting distracted. What's everyone's strategy here? Are you guys letting them on social media at this age or holding firm?
Do not ask me how it got that far up his back. Do not ask. I just want to warn the other new dads, you think you're ready but you're not. It was everywhere. On his clothes, the changing table, the wall somehow. My wife was laughing the entire time. I now have a new respect for what parents deal with...
My sister passed away 18 months ago and we took custody of her kids, ages 7 and 10. We were never planning on having kids. Our house was peaceful, our schedule was our own. Now it's homework, dentist appointments, custody stuff with their dad, therapy. Some days I feel resentful and then I feel guil...
Spent 20 years as a confirmed bachelor. Had my routine, my hobbies, freedom. Met someone three years ago and suddenly I'm helping with homework, going to soccer games, dealing with teenagers. It's chaotic and honestly some days I wonder what I got myself into. But then my stepdaughter asks me to go ...
Made the switch 8 months ago when our second was born and wife had the better job offer. I took some heat from family, especially my dad, but whatever. Miss: being able to grab lunch with coworkers, the paycheck hitting my account, having something that was just mine and not family-related, wearing ...
Man I can't believe how different I am now. Used to go out Thursday through Sunday, slept til noon on weekends, spent all my money on concerts and trips with the boys. Now I'm up at 6am whether I want to be or not, my idea of a good time is getting the kids to bed by 8:30 so I can watch one episode ...
Spent the last 6 months converting the garage into a legit workshop. Got pegboard walls, organized tool storage, good lighting, a solid workbench. First project was a simple shelf for the kids but man it felt good to actually MAKE something again instead of just maintaining stuff. Haven't done real ...
Haven't been fishing since before he was born. Picked it back up last spring and now we go about once a month to this little pond nearby. He's 8 and still pretty bad at it but he loves being out there. We don't always catch anything but that's not really the point anymore. It's just us and quiet. Be...
He said knock knock. I said who's there. He said interrupting cow. I started to say interrupting cow w... and he screamed MOO before I could finish. Kid's got timing. He's going places. Probably the bathroom to flush something he shouldn't have.
I told my 15yo son not to buy that gaming PC right now because new gen is coming in 3 months. He thought I was being cheap and controlling. Well guess what, the new gen dropped today and prices on the old stuff tanked. He just came to me and said I made the right call. Victory tastes sweet fellas
Had a situation yesterday where a waiter was being disrespectful to my wife at a restaurant. Nothing crazy but he was dismissive and rude. I calmly but firmly called him out on it and asked to speak to the manager. My wife said I didn't need to do that but that's exactly when you need to do it. A ma...
