Bottle feeding - regular or angled bottles?
Quick question - are the angled bottles actually better or is that marketing? We're combination feeding and I want to make sure we're not doing anything that could cause issues.

I live in Minnesota and my mood/anxiety gets noticeably worse November through February. It's March now and I'm already dreading next winter. Have folks dealt with seasonal stuff and found anything helpful?
Switched to WFH last year and I don't think I could ever go back to the office. I get to have lunch with my kids, I'm there for school pickup, no commute stress. Yeah I work till 8pm some nights but that's way better than missing everything. My manager doesn't care as long as deliverables are done.
First time trying a 14 hour smoke. Got my offset smoker ready, picked up a nice brisket, gonna start at 5am. The whole family's coming over so no pressure right? Watched like 5 youtube videos already. Somebody tell me I'm not crazy for doing this.
Got two kids, ages 7 and 11. Wife wants to limit it to 1 hour per day total but ngl that seems insane on weekends when we're trying to get stuff done around the house. What's actually reasonable here? And how do you guys enforce it without constant battles? I'm not trying to raise them glued to a ta...
Idk why but I'm counting. Every pickup and dropoff smooth, no arguments, scheduling is easy, exes in civil mode. My therapist says this is what "healthy co-parenting" actually looks like and I should recognize the win instead of waiting for the other shoe to drop. So yeah. 47 times. That's pretty g...
Do your kids actually groan at your jokes or do they just not laugh? Mine don't even acknowledge them anymore. Like I'll say something objectively hilarious and my 8 year old just stares at me with zero emotion. Is this what my future holds? Total comedic irrelevance?

Walked past his room last night and heard clicking sounds. Opened the door and there he is on his laptop playing some online game with his buddies. Said they were in the middle of something and couldn't stop. I'm furious. Took the laptop away but now he's not talking to me and my wife says I overrea...
Two years ago my life was sleeping till noon, eating takeout every night, bunch of random hobbies I never finished. Met my now-wife, we had a kid, and suddenly I'm the guy who goes to bed at 10pm because I have to be up with a toddler. I actually meal prep now which sounds insane. I miss the freedom...
Looking for something where I can actually talk to other dads about the mental health side of parenting. Not really a "dad jokes and golf" group, more like actual conversations about depression, anxiety, loneliness, etc. Does anyone know if there's anything like that in Portland? Or is it all just o...
This is embarrassing but my 8yo spilled juice and I literally yelled at him like he'd done something terrible. It wasn't even that much juice. He looked terrified. I feel like garbage. This is the third time this month I've blown up over something small and I can't figure out why I'm like this now. ...
8yo starting 3rd grade and I'm weirdly stressed about it. Not about his adjustment—he's excited and outgoing. But I'm having these intrusive thoughts about something bad happening during the day and I won't be there. School shooter stuff, accidents, whatever. I KNOW the stats and I KNOW I'm being ir...
Hadn't been in years. Took my oldest son out on the lake last month and we caught nothing but we talked the whole time. Gonna make it a monthly thing. Already told him we're going again this Saturday. Kids grow up too fast man.
We live in Seattle and paying $2,100/month for my 2-year-old to go to daycare 3 days a week. THREE DAYS. My wife makes more so it made sense for me to cut back, but holy crap, at what point does it make more financial sense for one of us to just quit? We're not rich, we're normal middle-class people...
