I want to build a gaming pc but honestly the whole thing is kind of intimidating. I used to game a lot before kids but now I'm so out of the loop. Want something decent for like 1200 dollars that can handle newer games at good settings. I've got a few hours here and there to actually play and don't ...

Just accepted an offer that pays 10k less but the hours are way more reasonable and they actually care about families. It's a pay cut but my current job has me working 50+ hours most weeks and I'm missing too much. Wife thinks I'm crazy for taking less money but I think my mental health is worth it....

Been packing lunches for weeks and finally got the balance right where my son actually eats everything and doesn't trade it all away. Found out his favorite combo is the sandwich I thought he hated plus some fruit and a cookie. Small win but honestly feels like I cracked the code.

I said 'silly is my first name' and she just stared at me and said 'no it's daddy.' Absolutely wrecked me. She's only 4 and already delivering better comebacks than my friends.

You know the one. Looking at something on the bottom shelf and just squatting instead of bending over like a normal person. My wife walked by and said 'here we go' and a random dad across the aisle nodded at me in solidarity. We didn't speak but we understood each other.

So life has actually been pretty decent lately. Kids are healthy, wife is happy, work is going well. But I keep getting this underlying dread like something bad is about to happen. Like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Anyone else deal with this? It's like I don't know how to just enjoy the g...

First week back at the office after 12 weeks with my daughter and I feel like I'm missing everything. Got like three texts from my wife with photos and updates and now I'm just staring at my desk not getting anything done. How do you guys handle this? Does it get easier or am I just going to feel li...

Taking my two kids camping for the first time by myself while my wife visits her sister. We're only doing one night at a state park about 30 minutes away so nothing crazy. I'm a little nervous about bedtime and bathroom situations but mostly excited. Any tips for making it actually fun for a 5 and 8...

This is the third time in two months she's asked to swap weekends with zero notice. I get that life happens but I make plans with the kids, I take time off work sometimes, and I feel like my schedule doesn't matter. How do you guys handle this without being a jerk about it? I don't want to be that d...

Look I'm not gonna lie, when I need 20 minutes of peace to cook dinner or take a call, YouTube Kids is my go-to. My 4 year old is actually learning stuff from the educational channels and it's better than regular YouTube with all the weird content. But my mom keeps saying I'm raising him on screens....

I love my kids but I'm running on fumes. Baby is 4 months old and still not sleeping well at night. Wife and I are splitting shifts but I'm still only getting maybe 4-5 hours broken up sleep. Then I have to show up and be sharp at work. I'm forgetting things, I'm irritable, and I feel like I'm faili...

My company is letting me work from home 3 days a week while my wife works 2 days a week so someone is always with the baby. Sounds good in theory but has anyone actually managed this? I'm worried I'll be in video calls and the baby will start screaming. Or I'll be trying to concentrate on important ...

My 13yo came to me with a ton of doubts about God and the Bible and honestly I panicked a little. My instinct was to shut it down but my wife reminded me that faith that survives doubt is stronger faith. So we sat down and I told him my doubts too. Real talk about stuff I struggle with. We didnt hav...

Got sober 8 months ago and while I wouldnt go back I do miss some stuff about drinking. I miss how easy it was to check out after a hard day. I miss my buddies thinking I was funny and fun. The new me has to actually feel things and be present and that sucks sometimes. But then my daughter tells me ...

We're having to supplement with formula because my wife's supply isn't where it needs to be and she's stressed about it. I want to help more with feedings but I'm worried I'm doing the bottle wrong. Do you guys have any tips for bottle feeding? And how do I help my wife feel better about the formula...
